NOTICE TO CUT OR DESTROY NOXIOUS WEEDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to each and every person who owns, occupies or controls land in the Town of Cold Spring, County of Jefferson, State of Wisconsin, to cut or destroy all Canada thistle, Leafy Spurge and field bindweed, commonly known as (Creeping Jenny) and Giant Foxtail, Perennial Sow Thistle, Yellow Rocket, Yellow Mustard and Musk Thistle on all lands owned, occupied or controlled by you in said Town, at such time and in such manner as shall effectually prevent them from bearing seed, or spreading to adjoining property, as required by section 94.20 of the Wisconsin Statutes.

The cost to residents who fail to cut weeds after a five-day notice has been given will be charged $100 per hour for tractor and mower use plus labor cost at $20 hr.
